Our work with children and young people is focused on understanding underneath the behaviour, and helping them to develop confidence, skills and the emotional safety they need.
We offer psychologically-informed therapy to children, young people and families, experiencing a range of difficulties and distress. We cater our approach to the child or young person by incorporating therapeutic conversations, play and creative approaches, and further age-appropriate psychological strategies and techniques.
At Your Mindspace, through our evidence-based psychological therapies, we work collaboratively to create a comprehensive assessment and therapeutic plan; this helps build a shared understanding of the child or young person’s experiences, including the factors that may be contributing to ongoing difficulties.

When a child or young person is struggling, it can be difficult for parents and carers to know what to do, what to say, or where to turn. At Your Mindspace, we recognise that supporting a young person also means supporting the people around them.
We work alongside parents and carers to help you better understand what your child may be experiencing and give you practical strategies to support them at home. We can provide guidance around communication, emotional wellbeing, behaviour, boundaries and building confidence, while helping you feel more confident in your role.
